does anyone else think that maybe Sawyer played the tape juliette made about the preegnant women on the island, and heard on it (but didn't play it for anyone else) that Kate is preggo?

sawyer isn't exactly the kind to be happy and supportive about a baby.....maybe he knows she's preggo and is pushing her away?

i only mention that cause Kate makes a comment--'Ever since you heard that tape you've been different with me' or something like that. and he specifically didn't want her helping him and goin back to the beach--could he be protecting her?

just my little theory

As for Jacob being in the coffin - who IS Jacob? We didn't see him - only Ben can. What is with that? I don't know, it seems ultra freakish to me that Jacob would be dead and Jack would care so much that he would want to kill himself over it. I don't know of - wait a second..... WAIT! MAYBE IT WAS JULIETTE IN THE COFFIN!!!!!!

That wa smy theory- that he's upset that she's preggo. And that she could die.
I used to love that word- prego, preggo- but it just gets used so seriously on LIF.
I am going to have to use knocked up.
In conclusion, I agree that it is Jacob, mostly becaus eof the insanity of Dark Tower-ness.
The 'tower' in the end of the series of books, is like the nexus of all the dimensions, and the 'beam' is like, important to it- I think it needs to be destroyed or something.
But if someone had to be killed, at the tower, on a beam, and found by Ted- gotta be a main main main bad guy.

Maybe Juliet is a MAN!
Jack would need some serious COUNSELING.

The only J name left is Jacob because none of the Lost men are from NY (except for Michael).

how would Juliet know she was was preggo if Kate doesn't know?

she was supposedly getting blood samples from the ladies while they slept. she said on the tape that we heard that she weas trying to get 'Austin's sample' but hadn't yet. maybe she did get it, test it and found out she was preggo and said it on the tape.

This was posted over at the Fuselage as a version from someone that they suspect works on the show.

'The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue.

Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft.

Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room.

According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son.

Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening.'

MEL!!! Brilliant!! I never made the 'since you heard that tape' connection!!

I have an official theory.

Jack is the one who sent/ is on the boat 80 miles off the coast.
His finding theisland would result in some sort of a time/ space overlap- that is what Ben is trying to stave off.
