LOST?

so who was watching?


I was watching consistantly and then these last 2 months on and off..

so i just watched.. and i'm a little confused... were they saved and flashing foward? Was today the season finale?

Todays episode was really good.. but i didnt realize untill the end that it was after crash not before.

Yes, this was the season finale....

I didnt realize that the flash was a flash-forward either-I dont think you were supposed to!

FH says the flashback is pre-crash and jack and kate knew eachother. i disagree, i think it is post-crash.

Who do you think was in the casket? it has to be someone that wasnt liked or kate wouldnt have had that reaction 'why would i?' (go to the funeral)

I am so sad to see charlie go, but at least we were prepared

yeah it was def post crash because he was saying we werent supposed to get off and that he keeps traveling hoping for another crash

I dont have a clue who was in the casket, now realizing those were post crash, im thinking lcke maybe? so confusing

i am sad about charlie too!!! why didnt he go out the window that was blown open by the bomb?

I'm sad about Charlie too But I think that it was such a bad ending. I wish it was something that would leave us dying for more! I have no idea who was in the casket! But I am really upset that we have to wait until January for another new epsiode!!!!!!

oh crap, the flashes were AFTER THE CRASH?!?!?!? That totally makes sense now!!! And Kate looked BEAUTIFUL in the flashes.

Ahhhhh, it totally makes sense now... It's a shame that Jack goes that way and he and Kate don't talk etc.

As for Charlie - I was wondering the same dang thing - WHY oh WHY didn't he try to fit through that window!!!

Simply put, we never saw Charlie 'die', we just assume it's going to happen because it would be almost impossible for it not to happen... but this IS Lost. Rarely (if ever) have I seen a season finale that kills off a crucial character without showing the character in a confirmed state of death for all to mourn. The way it was set up - we were built up to love the character of Charlie and we were all rooting for him to make it. The 'death scene' was designed to invoke as much emotion as possible given that we 'knew' it was coming.

With all that sorrow built up on a season ending cliffhanger, given that they didn't actually verify his death, it opens a perfect piece to start a new season, because most will be thrilled if he ends up making it. It's perfect storytelling.

Mark it down. He lives.

I think it was Ben in the casket. I think that's why no one showed up for the viewing. I think Jack has PTSD from his whole time on the island. And I think he went to Ben's casket viewing because he thinks maybe Ben was right. Maybe he shouldn't have left the Island. Maybe things were better for him there and he still regrets leaving....And I think Kate was pregnant in that final scene.. Did you see her belly?Who's baby? Maybe Sawyers? Great season finale! I was bawling when Charlie died. Why didn't he run out of that little room and shut the door behind him? Charlie didn't have to die.

I think the door had to be locked from the inside, that's why desmond couldn't open it

charlie drowned bc hte only way the rest of desmond's flash could be true ( i.e. claire and aaron getting on a helicopter) would be if he drowned like desmond saw.

and it was definitely a flash forward - i mean, he had maps of the flight and everything it was very obvious

the kid and mom he saved *MAY* be claire and aaron ( aaron doesnt remember him and claire is still not conscious) did they show her?? i dont remember

Yes, they showed the woman he saved. She was a little heavy and had black hair if I remember correctly. So I don't think it was Claire.

He was trying to warn desmond that the girl that landed on the island had nothing to do with penny. We still dont know who she is and her boat is the one jack contacted

thanks ... gotcha - i had missed a few episodes so i think i missed the whole 'Penny' thing - but i was confused cause I know Naomi was the one with the cell looking for the island ...

penny was desmond's g/f, she had a search team trying to find desmond and when naomi landed she said penny sent her

I think the REALLY big twist may be that for once, Ben might actually be telling the truth about 'bad' people trying to find the island and ruin it...

...how's THAT for a mind-f**k?

I'm just kidding....I thought this episode was FRIGGIN AWESOME...

I wonder if they will do the show 'Memento' style (did anyone see that flick?) from now on and have the flashfowards and the island story sort of 'meet' at the very end of the show when they finally get rescued?? Will the big question at the end be whether or not Jack 'sees the light' and realizes that he is where he's supposed to be (on the island)...because honestly I don't think they are getting rescued quite yet....I believe they set in motion the events that will, in the end, cause them to be rescued but more things need to happen first...Who was Naomi with if not Penny?, Who exactly did Jack contact? What will happen to Penny? Where did Mikhal go? What the hell is going on with Jacob/Locke? WHY ARE THEY HEADING FOR A TEMPLE???? What is the temple for?? Why is there a statue with four toes?? Does that have anything to DO with said temple? Is that part of 'where they are'? Are they lost in time? Why can't ANYONE find this island??

Will desmond see flashes of Jack's future misery and try to change what happens? Will Jack himself realize that they should stay on the island?

W T F was with Locke trying to shoot himself in the head...OMG!! and WALT!!! He looked eight feet tall!!!

I don't think Jack's dad is alive I think Jack is just too far gone by that point......he's an addict and addict's make sh*t up or get dillusional...that's why when he brought the prescription to the pharmacy and they were going to call Christian, Jack said 'Don't bother'....Jack just has a hang-up about his dad....he knows he's dead.....

I'm sorry....my head is spinning.... i love this show so much!
