Lost a Bridesmaid

Lost a Bridesmaid

So FSIL told me yesterday she wants nothing to do with me ever anymore. This is because she is involved with an ex-con who has a history of hurting women and I was just trying to look out for her and basically save her life. She said the most hurtful things to me ever last night and her actions have been even more hurtful. I hope one day she realizes how immature she is acting. I would like to receive an apology from both FIL's and FSIL but I highly doubt that will come anytime in the near future...

I'm so sorry... what does FH say about all of this? I don't understand how women think it's ok to be with men who are so clearly toxic.

from all that I read about this whole situation u are lucky to be rid of her. I really hope one day she realizes how insane she is and will see what she lost by her actions.

You are better off without her if she's going to be around this kind of dangerous filth....is FH siding with you?

Awww sorry sweetie, you did the right thing and one day when she is not blinded by 'love', she will come and apologize. I hope that your in-laws realize you were just trying to protect them.

its aweful that u lost a BM but even worse that she's in such a crappy relationship with a poor excuse for a man... it's not like ur makin this stuff up to hurt her or see her alone and unhappy, so i dont understand ur FSIL. hopefully she realizes what an @$$hole he is before she gets hurt.

this is for the better as I would rather not be around someone who doesn't trust me or my word and realize the good I was doing by looking out for her......you did the right thing, don't forget that!

It's a blessing in disguise, IMO! People like that tend to bring problems that you don't need. Hopefully she will smarten up before anything happens.

It's obviously putting a strain on my relationship with FH. He is on my side and agrees with me on this situation, but he is still really close with his family and it upsets him that they are acting this way to me. He is kind of stuck in the middle and he isn't comfortable with that. It is all so out of the blue because I have always had a good relationship with my FIL's.

this such a difficult situation...

on one hand you dont want something bad to happen to your inlaws...

on the other hand you want them to see that this guy is a psycho... and theres no way for that to happen other than him doing something to one of them...

double edge sword and theres no way around it
