So FSIL told me yesterday she wants nothing to do with me ever anymore. This is because she is involved with an ex-con who has a history of hurting women and I was just trying to look out for her and basically save her life. She said the most hurtful things to me ever last night and her actions have been even more hurtful. I hope one day she realizes how immature she is acting. I would like to receive an apology from both FIL's and FSIL but I highly doubt that will come anytime in the near future...

some day she is going to grow up and realize you were only try to protect her. but until she is mature enough to see that.... you are better off. if she was in it it would only cause drama and take away from this special day for you and FH. what does Fh say about all this?

Don't worry. Her head is stuck in the ground and she has no idea what's going on around her. You've done all the right things and yet, she does nothing and blames you. One day she'll come around, but let's hope it's not too late when it happens.

I know it stings and you have no reason to feel bad for what you did and EVERY right to feel betrayed by them

ITA... it su cks that she's being so childish about this. but honestly, given the way she's treated you, good riddance.
some people just need to experience the bad to learn a lesson taught (does that makes sense)

I totally know what your going through. I just lost my MOH and a BD so im in your shoes and know what you are feeling...They said really hurtful things to me too!
