lost invites

lost invites

I know at least 3 people who have not gotten our invitations yet and we sent them out 3 weeks ago!!!!! :( who knows who else didnt get them! What do i do, spend more $ and get more, and more envelopes addressed, etc! Thank god i sent them out 2 months in advance! This is ridiculous!

OMG!!!!!!!! I have been worried about the same thing, esp from very close people who I know would have sent them out already......Damn post ofc!!!!!!!!!!!

this happened to us too... in this case we just let the people RSVP over the phone. If they wanted another invite, I sent one.

Yeah, but all the hotel and directions, etc were in there :( I gotta order more!

This happened to us as well....luckily 2 of the people were in our wedding party and and 1 couple we see all the time....Everyone one else did get theirs...really only a handfull didn't ..

Where do they go!??! And why dont they get returned to me at least! Is there a wedding invite theif out there who likes to torment brides!?

apparently yes...it's just to torment us....I never received mine back either?? ...hopefully it's just a few who didn't get them...

I totally agree. And to be perfectly blunt, unless it is like, your mom or grandma, people just toss them in the garbage anyway eventually!

Everyone got their invites and I was still emailing people the hotel info and directions!!

One of my uncle's actually called my mom to tell her that he hadn't received his invite. And another friend just told us she hasn't received hers either. We're lucky enough to have some extras.
But I still haven't received over half of my RSVP's and now I'm wondering if it's partially do to the fact that some people never got their invites.

we had a few that got lost, one of my good friends that lives right near me, got hers about 3 weeks after everyone else.

We had ordered extra invites and envelopes, so we just sent new ones out.

In the first 2 weeks we had the envelopes made up. After that I hand wrote the rest of them. We had 3 wrong address, 1 got sent back the other 2 never got them, but called.

Funny thing is that all of them go the save the date and hadn't moved so who knows maybe its the post office.

I think the same thing happened to us because some people havent recieved them. I just hope that I find out about it. I dont think I am going to order more invites, but just tell them the information over the phone.
