LOST! Locke, you got some 'splainin' to do!

Hey guys, did you see that new show LOST last night? It reminds me of this show I used to watch a loooooooong time ago about the survivors of a plane crash trapped on an island with a crazy French lady and some jungle-monster and all sorts of angst and daddy-issues. What was it called, oh yeah... called LOST!

Anyway, back on the island of wonkiness...

Locke and Boone? Cutest. Couple. Ever. But seriosuly, I was totally surprised when it seemed like Boone grew a pair and told Locke to cram it. Of course it was a dream. And a creepy one at that. Theresa falls up the stairs. Theresa falls down the stairs. Freaky.

Kate, shut up! You are the new object of my weekly 'shut up.' Why? Because when you're not being useless, you're being mopey. When you're not being mopey, you're being meddlesome? Are you a Camden? What the frick?

Jack and Sawyer? Hee!! And another HEE!! 'Have you ever contracted an STD? (pause) I'll take that as another yes.' But those glasses that Sayid fashioned? The most AWESOME AWESOMES THAT EVER AWESOMED!

Boone, you've now been in 2 plane crashes. Perhaps you should stick to killing your nanny and sleeping with your step-sister.

As for Locke's flashback, Who on this island doesn't have daddy-issues? Of course I don't think anyone else's father jacked a kidney. This backstory actually made me like Locke a little, but I kept waiting for something that would paralyze him.

Best line of the episode was courtesy of Hurley: 'Dude, someone steamrolled Harry Potter.' Bwahahahahahahahaha!

Overall, really good episode. Sawyer got glasses, Jack was all reluctant and flirting with Kate, Boone and Locke actually found something (a plane stuffed with Heroin....paging Charlie!) and the hatch did something! It totally lit up!

Next weeK; Baby-Mama-Drama!!! Boone might die!!

My guess is the leaving the hospital immediately after having your kidney removed and stoming daddy's castle had something to do with the paralysysis.

What confused me though, was that he was only paralyzed for 4 years before the crash & he seemed more than 4 years younger in that flashback.

I think the reason the hatch finally lit up was that Boone wasn't around. The hatch is for Locke's eyes only.

And word on the awsomeness of Sayid's designer specs.

Tourist, I suspected that too about the 'storming daddy's castle'. But the time line seems off. Maybe it was a hunting accident later on? When Locke doesn't have that magnificent mane of hair!

Did you catch the transmission from the plane? Boone said they were survivors of Oceania flight 815. Did the voice on the radio say there were no survivors?

oh--hunting accident! You are probably right. He just learned to hunt when he met his dad, so he probabaly hutned for yaers after ( which would explain his immense knowledge of the subject)

I couldn't makeout the response. All I heard was the voice repeat 'Oceania Flight'. Maybe it said there was not 'Oceaniaflight 815'?. . .frea-ky!

What is UP with the spaceship thing?

Loved Sawyer with the rigged up glasses
Did anybody notice that he was reading 'A Wrinkle In Time'? That was one of my favorite books when I was young

OK, DH was yapping and I really didn't get the whole Father/kidney thing. I assume that was really his father again?

I hope no one tells Charlie that plane was full of Heroine!

That episode was totally wacky....Danielle thinks it is sooo stupid now but I don't...Maybe there is something wrong with me....I love it....I hope something more is shown to us with the hatch next week...And I think Claire is finally going to have the alien baby...I wonder if Boone will die.....I think I heard one of the main characters was supposed to die this season...I wonder if it is Boone....

my husband thinks it is starting to get stupid to, with the premonitions & all, but I like it. I don't think Boone will die- not next week at least. I think the person is supposed to die in the season finale.

I don't think they will go the obvious route with Boone.

How do you think it'll be before people start wearing the Sawyer/Sayed desinger specs in the real world?
