I ordered my dress the first week of June since then I have lost 15lbs. Now I realize that is not much nor do I care if I drop anymore but I do plan to drop at least another 15 by March. I know i am going ot have some ups and downs but now I think I can really do it whereas when I ordered the dress I actually ordered it bigger!
Should I call up the dress shop and tell them of my weight loss and now my new weight goals to see if they can change the order? Or you think it is a no way in hell setup.

im sure they will be able to take it in. i would leave it only because you might not have lost weight in spots that you might need to. does that make sense??

yea honestly i was a 16 deff. on top and 16 1/2 on the bottom they said they could take it out and it would fit. I told them to order the 18. Now I am kinda scared.. how much can they take in? I figure I would be a 14 ( in wedding dress numbers) if I am really good by march .

I have the same issue. I ordered my dress around the same time as you and its 1 size larger (my mother said 'JIC' I don't lose). I've lot about 10 lbs already and hope to lose a LOT more before the wedding.
As of right now i'm just going to wait until the dress comes in. I asked when I bought the dress and from what i've been told they can bring the dress in. I was told at LEAST 3 sizes if not more.
BTW I LOVE your dress!!!!!

i would just wait until your first fitting...Bc you don't know how much more you'll lose and then you'd have to call again to update them. It should be fine

First, congrats on the weight loss!!!
Second....I think you will be fine with the size you have, it's always better to have more fabric then less, even if you plan on losing weight (<~~says the lady I ordered my dress from).

I think if it makes you feel better, give them a call. It would not hurt! I think they can take it in a size or 2,,, so make sure that they can accomodate your weight loss! Congrats on doing a great job already!

OMG I've been panicking. I've been putting off dress shopping because I wanted to lose weight, I dropped almost 15 lbs since we got engaged and I'm worried if I drop more there will be a problem with the dress. I'm starting to go in a few weeks.

Congrats on the weight loss! I would say leave it as it, you can always alter it when you go for your fittings.
