I think they tired at the end of this road trip. I hope they can win tonight to salvage this series with the Twins.

I think they are in coasting and resting mode already. The division is a lock and I think Torre wants to slow things down a bit to help keep the players strong through September and into October. Plus A-rod is out with the flu and then his suspension, Posada had the flu and Mussina was pitching for the first time yesterday in a month and a half. Even if they lose tonight I wouldn't be overly concerned, but a win would be nice.

I agree. And they did get the win, but not without some serious issues!
