Lots of Checks!
So, with just over 7 months to go I have been trying to take care of the final big checks and start working on the smaller checks.I booked my MUA! I went with Nadine Vasquez who is the MUA that did my MU for my engagement shoot. She was great to work with and actually traveled to ME to do my MU the day of my e-shoot and I know most of you know I am in the Bronx. She did a fab job. My MU lasted all day. Her prices are also the best I have found. There is a before/after shot of my in my 'wedding stuff' album if anyone wants to see. I also booked our limo!! I am so freakin' happy to have this check because limos was really stressing me out. I can't understand why they are so expensive (like everything else 'wedding' lol). But we went with the cheapest we found which was Trans Star Exec. We booked their white limo bus. I sent in my deposit today!
We haven't booked it yet, but I know the hotel I want to book to get ready in the day of. Homewood Suites in Plainview. Myself and some of the LIW girls did a b-shoot back in Oct and rented a room there. The room was a 1br suites w/living room and kitchenette, very nice, clean and comfortable. At 1st I thought it was too far from Swan Club, but its only 25 mins. Plus we will likely do our photos at OWG which is only about 15 mins away so I figured that it works perfectly, yay! This also saves me time in having to go LI to check out other hotels, double yay! lol
We have an appt on Sat with Pastor April to finally meet in person (I booked her back in Dec 2011 lol) and to start working on our ceremony. We are having her custom write it for us. Looking forward to seeing how she brings it all together.
On to smaller checks: I ordered my wedding hanger (went with the white one, if anyone rems my poll lol). I also ordered my bouquet charms that I will put pictures of my fur babies in so I can have them with me on the day of
Pic in 'wedding stuff' album. Yay for Checks!
