Lots of checks

I don't post my checks often so when I do it's in bunches...so if you can stand to read it all, here's my latest checks...

Today I met with Michelle from Hidden Essence, to see a sample of my centerpiece. It's perfect! She's the best, she's one of the nicest vendors to talk to. If you're looking for an affordable florist definitely check her out. Pic of sample in my wedding stuff album.

My dress came into Village Bridal last month and I visited it! They said 6-8 months, it came in at the 6 month mark. They ordered me the perfect size, it doesn't seem like it should need much in the way of bodice alteration, just hem. So excited, they've been wonderful over there so far and I'm so glad I was still in love with my dress and that it fit. I tried on veils there but they were too expensive, I found the one I liked online for $150 less so I ordered it from there, it came in and is exactly what i wanted.

My mom just bought her dress on Sunday! She bought it from Macy's in Lake Grove and they were great. The consultant was really helpful. The dress is Caterina 6022 in Gray.

We got our invitations! We ordered them online from David's Bridal and while I was kind of nervous since I couldn't see a printed proof, they came out amazing. I love the quality and look of them, they're exactly what I was looking for, simple but elegant and for such a great price!

The next week will be a break from my own wedding planning to enjoy the weddings of others! FH and I leave Saturday to go to his friend's wedding in Vegas (not on the strip, at a country club), I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like. After we get back we have my best friends wedding at Giorgios on Sunday the 20th. I'll report back how it is! Hope everyone's planning is going well

I ordered it online from Bella Mera Bridal Boutique. They have an online store that I stumbled on on accident when looking for a picture of the Ansonia lace edged veil I fell in love with. I was going to print a picture to bring to Barron's to see if they could make it but then when I saw I could order the exact veil I loved online for $100 (they wanted 250 at the bridal salon) and get free shipping I decided to go with it and I'm glad I did. It came in great condition, in the time frame specified and they were responsive when I had any questions.

Thanks ladies! I've been trying to stick to my monthly checklist, and it's working out so far. I'm getting stuff done but not feeling overwhelmed. 2014 is right around the corner!
