Lots of fun booking updates also! It is long, sorry!

So, I'm sure you all remember my church time dilemma. How St. Christopher's which I love could only do our ceremony at 3:30 and not move it up to 3 because of the school getting let out. FH and I were hoping that the school had a half day because most Catholic schools have that the first Friday of the month, but they don't. We were really torn. Just as a back up I am from SI, and did not want to get married at my church and commute to the RH in that crazy traffic. Also, very close family friend's of ours used to live in Baldwin and went to St. Christopher's. Unfortunately, the father in that family (my dad's best friend) passed away a few years ago very suddenly. I always said I loved that church and that I wanted to get married there and now I really wanted to. We met with the priest who used to be an accountant (hysterical to FH and I since we both are lol) and loved him and it was all great except for the time issue. So, we realized we'd prob have to switch the church and then it hit me. I don't know why I never realized this sooner, but when I went to St. John's I lived in a house off campus for 2 years and used to go to St. Kevin's which was right down the street. When I lived in that house was when FH and I met. We have tons of memories there and used to go to church together at St. Kevin's a lot. So, now this church has much more significance to us as a couple. Also, they do have a half day on first Fridays and will have our Mass at 3pm! This church is closer to SI and still the same distance to JT if not shorter. Also, since we loved the priest from St. Christopher's we may ask if he can do our ceremony but I will wait on that for now.

So thrilled that the timing works out now and so then we officially booked OLD WESTBURY GARDENS for pictures yaayyy!!! We have the 5-6:30pm time slot which works out great with our 7pm cocktail hour start.

We also booked limos with Royalty and got a great dealll, including the Bentley!!! woohooo. We met with Joe from Camelot also who was a SWEETHEART and a lot younger looking than I expected haha. Really awesome guy but we went with the better price in the end. Plus Royalty has the newer Bentley which FH really loves and since he doesn't ask for much at all with the wedding we got the Bentley instead of the Rolls Royce.

So those are my updates for now, very excited and just wanted to share! Really sorry for this being so long just wanted to share each detail lol.
