lots of hair & makeup questions

~who's doing your hair & makeup? (nassau / queens)

~do they do free trials or how much do the trials cost?

~how long before the wedding do you book them?

~do they all go to your house?

~what do you do if you want to have a trial in the winter (when your pale) but are getting married in the summer (when you'll have a tan).

Maureen Pedala is doing my makeup. Her trials are free. She does travel. My wedding is next October and I booked her this past September.

I plan on having another trial to finalize 'the look' next summer. I was looking more for the person's ability, than finding 'the look' during my trials.

I also had a trial with Oksana - I think they are $50 and she also travels.

As far as hair goes - I have had three trials so far and will most likely book Claudia Pedala (Maureen's sister). I am waiting for the contract in the mail to look it over. FM me with any other questions you may have.

Never hurts to start looking. I really wanted Tarale or Denise Venti for my hair and they were both unavailable!!

Im from Queens. Oksana is doing my makeup my bm is probably doing my hair.

ETA: I booked her in ( I think) August for my Feb. wedding.

The trial cost me $35 I think. I went to her house since it is not far ( fresh meadows)

Yes she comes to your house

I went for my trial in the summer but was still pale. I told her I intended on going tanning to get a little color before the wedding. She said No problem.. that day she will adjust the makup to my new color.

I booked Oksana as well...trial was $35 ...went to her house as well.

I didn't really have much of a tan when I went, went in August for my May wedding...but we will do another trial closer to the date of the wedding, to finalize the look I'm going for. ...

Hair....nobody yet.
