Does anyone have any idea how much they charge pp? My friend wanted to check them out but they won't give any prices over the phone and she doesn't want to waste her time if it is way over her budget. Thanks.

$100 & up pp. It depends on the menu you pick. I recently went there with my FSIL for her wedding. It was beautiful, but I don't think that they are too negotiable on prices. I know that the only way they'll go below $100 is if it's on a weeknight and then it's the smallest menu. I think a typical Saturday night is around $150pp. That doesn't include tax/gratuity. The guy we spoke too said, ' we have a reputation to consider, so we can't go below that price.'
If she loves it then maybe she should go speak to them herself, but my FSIL wasn't too thrilled. The menu was nice BUT for less $$ she could get double the food someplace else.
Hope that helped.

Re: Louis XVI?
Will some people have issues going to a French restaurant?
I know when I called for dinner prices it was some of the most expensive on LI so I can imagine weddings are too.

the food IS fantastic, so is the service.
it's a quality vs. quantity kinda thing...
i am a little worried about the portion sizes myself, but the few times i have been there i never left hungry!
my FSIL had a fantastic spread at her wedding but there were so many leftovers just wasted! in a super-sized culture we are all fooled to believe that more is better...IMO not always the case...
the place does have its pros and cons, but after weighing all of them we decided it was the best choice for us!

Re: Louis XVI?
This was one of our top choices. For a decent menu - about 6-8 passed hors d'hoerves, one carving station, couple hot trays at cocktail hour and dinner being a 'chef's welcome' (small appetizer the chef chooses), salad, appetizer, dinner, wedding cake and petit fours, it was about $125pp for a Saturday afternoon (starting anytime before 4PM) in May/June. They did tell us the portion sizes were a little smaller, but they would also give anyone who wanted it a second entree. They do not want anyone to leave hungry.
They custom design the menu but we figured this was the least we wanted to go with. In the end, we thought our guests would appreciate more food and less travel time. But I loved this place - sunset there is amazing and the rooms are beautiful.

They had really good rates I thought but I went to Flowerfield first and that sealed it for me even though it's more expensive. My sis has been to the same reception halls as my fiancee and you can ask her what she thought also. I went when she narrowed the search. Do you want more than one wedding at the same time. They should have a contigence plan for rain , as to where you will have your ceremony if you want it there. Jessnyc711 is my sister. She chose NRClub also.
Fell free to FM me with any questions or ideas. We are all in the same boat. Mind as well make sure we all have a blast.
Best wishes for many years of happiness and success,
