My friend is getting married in Dec and we're trying to plan her BP. She requested a lounge in the city that also has dancing but she specifically said no clubs. Does anyone know of any places that fit this description?? TIA!!

I think it depends on the DJ. Majority of the time they played house. I remember there was a DJ who would try to play hip hop and the manager would freak out but the DJ would play it anyway. Dont know if its changed since then.

Was Sebastian the manager when you were there? I love him, he's a sweetheart. My best friend was the creative director for Nikki in Miami and we used to go to the Midtown location all the time when she was in NY.
Yah I remember Carlos, I used to go there in 06, lol. I def HATED those outfits!
They were terrible. They actually changed them to these light summer white pants and a Nikki logo shirt. It was so much better and actually made it look like we worked on a beach and not a gogo club. But they changed it back to the dress soon after I quit I heard. The worst was walking up to my tables and the looks they would give me. The people who had never been there before just didnt get it!
