Saw it this weekend and I thought it would be different?! All of the funny parts were mostly in the trailers but it was good, a typical english movie. Hugh Grant was really good, as well as Liam Neeson...and even the unknown actors were good!
A feel good, Christmas movie!

Re: Love Actually
You are welcome! I thought Hugh Grant was just eh (didn't not like him or anything) and I thought he was really adorable in this movie!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but it's on my list! I LOVE COLIN FIRTH, he's also in that movie.

Re: Love Actually
I saw that movie yesterday. I thought it was good. I knew nothing about it going in. I thought it had an interesting storyline. Hugh Grant was a cutie in it. Colin Firth was so cute too. Overall, good Christmas movie. I thought it had a positive message. I like those kind of movies.

Re: Love Actually
We just saw it this past week and I really liked it. The only problem I had with it was I felt the nudity was a little too much and really just not needed. It would have been such a great family Christmas movie if it wasn't for that part of it.
But all in all I thought it was a great movie with a nice message.

I agree - the movie was VERY good.
I'm such a terrible Anglophile.

Re: Love Actually
Jenn, I totally agree with the nudity!! I was like why is this here, that's a bit odd!
I loved the guy who played the rockstar, how funny was he?

Re: Love Actually
I liked this movie- I didn't love it. My favorite part of the whole movie was the first 2 minutes! That monologue was EXCELLENT. For me the movie didn't have enough closure at the end. I felt they did a pretty bad job of trying to tie it together. It needed more.

I LOVE Colin Firth. My co-workers and I adore him. We reserved a conference room for a week at lunch time so we could watch Pride and Prejudice and stare at him!
