LOVE LOVE LOVE my FH and this snowy day!! (Share your 'why i love my FH' story)

FH and I spent the afternoon at a birthday party, then on the way home we stopped at Victoria's Secret to buy me some cute lingerie for our trip next week - but then FH bought extra stuff for me so we can 'celebrate tonight'. He sent me home and said he had to run errands, but he just called and said he bought champagne and chocolate and thinks tonight would be the perfect night to try out some of my new stuff and celebrate our engagement, since so far we have only been able to celebrate with family and not just the two of us. AND we had a lovely kiss outside in the snow - soo romantic. So now I'm waiting for him to come home and thought I would share because sometimes, even when we are feeling like because they don't help with planning, FHs remind us why we said 'yes'!

my fh is so not romantic, so i definitely don't have any of those...it's just the little things...like the fact that he went out to get me strawberries for my protein shake this morning because we'd run out and the fact that after our plans fell through tonight, he knew i'd be upset, so he ran out to the grocery store to get cookies and wine so we could have our own party

My FH is so easy going and makes me feel in complete peace all the time. He would do anything for anyone and is the kindest person I have ever met. LIke you said..its even the little things...telling me to text him when I get in so he knows I got home ok, telling me when my favorite movie of all time is on, waking up with his arm around me in the middle of the night..I could go on and on....

After coming home from celebrating FH's birthday with his family this afternoon, I was feeling really overwhelmed. We are at our new home tonight, however, we are not living there permanently and sometimes when I'm here I get anxious with all of the construction. We have a lot on our plate with wedding planning, work and a new home.

Anyway, I was practically in tears when FH took me by the hand and walked me around the whole house pointing out where all the exciting events of our future will take place in our home. Where our future children will sleep-currently an empty spare bedroom with a BowFlex machine, where we will host our first Thanksgiving next year-unfinished dining room with a plastic folding table, where we will read the paper on Sunday morning, etc. So sweet and just what I needed.
