When FH and I went for our tasting - everything was fine - EXCEPT the filet. It was like 2 oz. and freaking SMALL. I was shocked at the size. It was horribly tiny.
What was your experience at your tasting?

We had multiple pieces ... overall, I thought the portion size was just right. And, I thought their espresso coating was excellent.

You did? I am asking them to take off the coating and just pan sear it with S&P...
We had two pieces and I thought it was small. Then again - the chicken and pork chop were monstrous...

Yeah, we all loved the coating. Thought it gave it a great taste (but maybe you have to like espresso for that - which our families love!)
I think we got more than 2 pieces ... I feel like we had 3.... I'll ask to see if FH remembers. I just don't remember thinking that the portion was small.. Although, perhaps in comparison to the pork chop and chicken it was. But, usually a filet is smaller in comparison b/c it's rich piece of meat.
