LOVIN THE OSCARS

I am a film buff and have not missed an Oscars since probably 1996. This one is by far my favorite. Finally they make it entertaining for everyone at home. Its like an award show/variety show. Maybe the ratings will get better now.

I'm loving it too! I think Hugh is doing an excellent job and I love they way they are bringing back the former oscar winners to present the awards....it feels so much more personal.

The only thing I don't like is that there have been no surprise winners this year. So far I called them all. I always like (even when I disagree with it) a surprise winner. In film school we had pools, this year it would have been less exciting.

But the presentation of everything more then makes up for lack of surprises.

I know, as much as I am against the Brangelina (I'm on Team Aniston) I really liked Brad Pitt in the Benjamin Button movie

Hugh Jackman did such a great job. I loved his opening number, it was probably my favorite ever.

And I'm so glad Kate Winslet finally won her Oscar. She is probably the most talented actress of her generation and she deserves it! Plus she's my favorite.
