Why yes, my dress is a little on the dramatic side but look who we are dealing with here! The front comes up high. My only issue is that I am going to have to have cups sewn in the front to hold up what little I have because there is no way to wear any other undergarment

this is the one thing i really dont want to do, find/try on dresses. i never try things on in the store. i just buy a bunch of stuff, take it home to try it out and return what i dont want. i dont think that will work out for this!
I am trying to find a price for this one. Its Christina Couture (UK). I emailed two of the discount websites, just to get an idea of its cost. I know its pretty pricey!
if it's too much $$ for you to buy, you can join the few of us that are having our dresses custom made 'basd on' a designer dress.

I may! I wouldn't have thought it was do-able had I not seen that thread you guys have.
Although, I probably need to find out what the front of it looks like first.

well, I emailed 5 stores on the east coast who were listed by the designer as carrying this dress. I have gotten 3 quotes so far: $3,740, $3289 and $2,800.
All well above my range - the NY store coming in at highest (surprise, surprise). So I think I will go try it on at the NY store and if all goes well... I would have it made.
