im sure this is a long shot b/c the area in general is $$$$ but is there even a pizza/italian rest that anyone can rec?? im goin nuts and cant find a thing!!!! i know in Syosett theres Christianos-thats still an option even though my service blew the 2x i went but the food was sooooooo yummmy! Any other places????

yea thats where we were going too book! But they want about 50 bucks....really dont wanna spend that much since we have to pay for this as well! if it was only goin go to be 10 ppl or so that be fine but we are having 30-40!

Hmmmm....
we're having ours at Baldino's in Plainview. It's in the Marriott Residence Inn (our wedding hotel). GREAT food. Not FAR from Oyster Bay!
There's always Mario's! lol...
Or Nino's! It's a hole in the wall, but great pizza!
There's also another Italian restaurant in Syosset on Jackson Ave.... totally forgot the name.

Fanaticos just opened in Hicksville. (same owners at Pasta-eria - GREAT food!)

honestly i dont care if its pizza place w/ a private room...theres a place near me Sun Dried Tomato...and for 18.95..i really feel like using them and making ppl drive back that way (since most ppl live out that way anyways)

Sorry to butt in, but they want $50 pp? B/c that is way too much.
But...if they want $50 as a deposit, that isn't bad! We did that and it was applied to our dinner.

I'm getting married at St. Dom's also! We're having our RD in Centre Island though. I know Oyster Bay well, so below are some suggestions. In accordance to what you mentioned, I think La Pizzetta would be perfect. And we got engaged right after our dinner there (it was also our first date) so I have a soft spot for it! The food is really great and its totally reasonable (and just down the road from St. Doms)
LA PIZZETA For italian, right down the road is La Pizzeta (we were actually engaged there). It's totally laid back and sounds like it might be that perfect low-key italian that you are looking for! http://www.lapizzetta.net/
COACH GRILL The Coach Grill has good food, but they're not all that cheap either. Plus the atmophere isn't so great.... Awesome filet mignon and berry salad though.
CANTERBURY ALES Another great place in Oyster Bay would be Canterbury Ales. If you and your family are beer drinkers, this place has an extensive menu of beers from all over the world. http://www.canterburyalesrestaurant.com/
MIMS in Syosset Might be pricier that you wanna go, but the food is great, its nearby Oyster Bay and its a nice atmosphere.

It's half pizza place, half restaurant. See if they'll do it. It's in Hicksville in the Marshall's Shopping Center. It's VERY good!
