Low Cost Venue

Low Cost Venue

I'm planning a 2013 wedding, and I've grown up in Queens & Long Island, but there are many halls in Queens that do a flat rate rental (No catering or drinks, we bring that our selves) I was wondering if anyone knew of anything similar anywhere on the island? I would be able to save alot of $$ and leave the cooking to family members, bringing alcohol myself.
The main reason is we're having a wedding of 400+ and I can't do 50$ a plate lol, its cheaper to just rent the hall and bring the food and drinks myself.

Hi MnJ ~ You may be interested in this link. They show rates, capacity and pictures of the halls. Good luck!

My sister wanted the same thing - she had her reception at the Knights of Columbus in Oceanside. Not sure of how many people can fit, but her party was awesome! Hope that helps

Try the Town of Islip...they have a hall that is right on the beach overlooking Lake Ronkonkoma. The number is (631) 467-3308.
