Right now I'm doing all high... I was either thinking of switching to all low or alternating.
Does anyone have any pics of a room with half high and half low CPs?

i am not sure how ur fam is... but i can picture the older folks that get the low cps will feel as if u dont love them as much as the relatives that got the high cps.

My family is exactly crazy like that... my grandmother has already sent me a list of people she wants to sit with like this is the prom and she's picking the friends she wants in her limo.... if she got a low CP she would probably take money out of my gift.
I guess it's all or nothing.

don't have pics but we're doing alternating- i think it gives the room an interesting feel and look. BUT my mom said the same thing barb did about the low ones maybe looking cheaper so wer're trying to be careful that they are just as special

I think highs and lows are very pretty, but there is something to say about all high. I had all high and there was just something very regal about them (check out my album to see photos). My main problem with alternating is the reason Barb gave. But it's your wedding and if someone really has a problem with it, it is THEIR problem. It's a ridiculous reason to be upset over.

I've seen all high and it's pretty, it's just every wedding I have ever been to has had all high CPs. (and I've been to 7 so far this year). I want to do something different.

I like half and half. I think it gives the room demension. I would still want FULL lows but low's can be very elgent too.

Yes definitely FULL lows. Basically whatever they are sticking on top of the highs I just want those without stands.
My florist is going to murder me...

I meant it's ridiculous for the GUESTS to be upset about sitting at a low CP table. I definitely don't blame you for wanting to be different - I think highs and lows can be very pretty. Plus I believe it would save some money so why not? Go for it - it's YOUR day!!!

i'm doing highs and lows...i dont think it will look bad....ur guests shouldnt care if they are at a table with a low cause when its time to leave with the centerpiece you can only take the flowers anyways...the vases on the talls have to stay....

I did half high, half low, personally I loved the way it looked. Like Shauna said, it really gave my room some more dimension. Also, at the end of the night, I had the waiters break down all the cp's and make bo-k's for all the women, this way everyone went home with flowers. All the ladies were thanking me for that. You can probably see pics of that in my review.
ps - got your fb message this morning, but I can't respond from work its blocked.

Gina what if you do all high, but have 2 or 3 different high CPs, so it gives each guest something different to look at?

That's a good idea. Watch my florist's head spin off into another dimension when I mention it...

She should not freak out! its a very reasonable request!
Sometimes i think I missed my calling.. I am having so much fun wedding planning.. much more fun than playing with stocks and bonds all day long.
