Lowest price you heard of or paid for Videographer?

Lowest price you heard of or paid for Videographer?

I am debating whether to get a videographer or not. I already booked my photographer but if I add the videographer to my package, it would cost an extra $1500.

I'd rather not spend $1500 for video - at this point, I am willing to just get someone who may be new in this business or not as well known for a low rate just so I have some video covering my event.

Can anyone recommend a cheap videographer?

TYIA!

this is exactly what i did and regret it. my video is so terrible that i wish i just asked a friend to do it. I f i could do it again, I would spend the extra money and get someone who has experience.

how bad was the video? Your wedding was only 2-3 weeks ago, you have the video already?? Thats pretty fast!

my video is 1250...

my sister paid under 1000 for her video... the video is nice, but the quality of the DVD they put it on was terrible... we only watched it once because it was skipping like crazy... she got married in 05, and she still hasnt gotten a new video from them!

Just remember that you get what you pay for.... with that in mind First Class Video has a ad for DVD packages starting at 800$ 631-472-9307... Also Pro cam has complete video packages starting at 595$ 516-783-5790

ok good luck!!
ps you guys should get the Li bride to be mag... it has great local inexpensive vendors in it!

It would have been an extra 1500 for a video if i ordered through my photographer- I ended up booking my video with my dj. He showed me a full length video his videographer did and it was just what we wanted. I am sure the video from my photographer would have been fancier and better edited, but all we cared about is that we have the memories, not the special effects. I remember thinking if i had the video that he showed me I would be so happy because it really showed everyone having fun on the dance floor etc. I think I saved 500 by ordering through him.

Couped up video offers a package with editing for $895. You can view some of his sample work at his website.

We booked with couped up, he has good reviews on here, and has packages at various prices.

Also, you don't have to pay for all the video ahead of the wedding, you pay balance when you pick up so that could be helpful if cost is an issue

T&T Studio video prices are low too.

I would be willing to a video if I could get it for really cheap. Im about toblow a big chunk on photos so my video budget is thin and basically non existent. I agree with the statement of you get what you pay for though... so it may be better to not go with a video anyway..

I haven't gotten my video yet so I can't tell you how it will be (I just haven't been bugging our videographer -- I still owe him money and he still owes me the video, but it just isn't that big a deal to me)... anyway, we weren't going to get one, but our photographer gave me a name and he cut me a great deal for about $800. (I still owe him half lol.) I just wanted a video of the important things like our first kiss and my grandfather's toast (and my dad's). I figure it'll really be for our children someday more than for me.

That's why we are doing it - for our kids. And FH's mother is 84 and there is a very good chance they will never know her, so we want them to be able to see/hear her.

I'm paying 895 for Couped up. It's edited, not raw footage which was cheaper. I saw his work and it's nice.

I'm using Video Image Productions. They have packages under $1000. I don't need an Academy Award winning video, I just wanted to be able to have a document of the day, you know?

My FH doesn't care whether we have a video or not. He said amazing pictures are better. But if I get a reasonable priced one, we will do it. Good info. Thanks!

not true all the time. I am using Couped up productions and he is awesome. He has a basic package for $595 but if you want light editing you can get it for $895. I am paying more but I am getting the higher package because I wanted a full edited video. He is a vendor on here.
