Luau Engagement Party

So FH & I (meaning FMIL and I) decided on a Luau theme for our backyard engagment party in August.....does anyone know of a caterer who will cater a Luau dinner???

Also, we need to hire bartenders to man the bar at the engagement party.....any ideas?

Yes I know the best waitstaff to hire! I used them for my e-party. We used The Party Empire www.thepartyempire.com They were FANTASTIC and so nice. I dealt with Matt and it was the best money I've spent on a party I can tell you that.

As for catering a luau, I looked into it but didn't have much success. Sorry I can't help ya there.

I think thats an AWESOME idea tho! We once had that theme for my cousins grad party..and so for a wedding, thats even cooler!

We had a luau themed engagement party and it was so much fun. My FMIL actually ordered food from a Greek restaurant (i know it doesn't go with the theme) but I wanted to order from Ivarone Brothers

They have a really cool chicken and pineapple appetizer that has chicken skewers coming out of a whole pineapple. it looked so pretty. (I'm still annoyed at my fmil for not letting me order it lol) They have a lot of other things as well.

Oh and btw...if you're looking for decorations, oriental trading has a lot of stuff for a Luau.
