I'm helpign to throw a luau themed bridal shower in a few months. Has anyone been to a luau theme shower and has any suggestions on favors and food? Thank you for your help!

Julz33's shower was a luau theme. You can search for the thread, I remember seeing pictures.
My sister threw us a luau themed engagement party. Definitely check out oriental trading for cheap decorations and stuff- they have LOTs of luau stuff

I did one for my mom and my rehersal dinner had the same theme!!!! It was so much fun. I made a lot of food using some typical hawaiin themes... like pineapple salsa and a couple of other things. For my rehersal dinner, SIL hired dance instructors who gave dance lessons on hualaing.

Oriental Trading is a must for decorations and leis. As for food, you could always order a bunch of Chinese food like sweet and sour pork, ribs, chicken and vegetables, etc...
