don't worry, there's always an alternative. if you're really set on going to the old lahaina luau, sometimes if you call again at a later date there may be a cancellation and they can squeeze you in. if not, look at the feast at lele which takes a little twist on the standard luaua. also a lot of hotels offer their own luaus. the last time i went to maui, i went to a luau at a hotel and it was pretty nice. hope that helps.

I beleive that the Hyatt has their own Luau, but I heard that it is not as awesome as the Old Lahaina one. Good luck!!! Hope it works out for you :)

amen to the feast of lele!!!! that is by far the BEST luau I've ever been to! I was lucky enough to capture the entire show on video!
We just got back from our HM and did the luau at the Hyatt in Maui. It wasn't bad, but we would have liked to have seen the luau at old lahaina.
