luggage question

luggage question

how many pieces and what size luggage did you register for?

the one i like has a 21' (carry on), 25', and 29'...do i do one of each or 2 carry ons, 1 25' and 1 29'?

We had registered for a carryon, one big luggage bag and one rolling garment bag

FH and i registered for 2 carry on size and 2 of the largest size (29) and one garment bag

we didn't register for any luggage. we each have luggage and its expensive. we don't live together yet and both still live at home so we still need a lot more important things, like pots and pans and bed sheets before we need luggage. i think its a waste of money.

We registered for:

- 2 rolling carry ons
- 1 medium rolling suitcase (i think it's 26')
- 1 large 29' rolling suitcase
- 1 garment bag

We didn't register for luggage. We have some luggage that's relatively new and aside from our honeymoon we won't really need great luggage... and we can always pick that up on sale later when we do need it.

That said, I have a large rolling suitcase, a medium tolling suitcase and a carryon duffle.

FH has an entire 6 piece set that we got from target for a good price and the quality is decent by Eddie Bauer.

Do one of each. I bought a set from Macys on special sale years ago. I don't remember how big they are but it's one really big one, a smaller one, and a carry on. They fit inside each other so they are probably about the sizes you are looking at. It fits our needs. We've only used them for car trips and one trip to Costa Rica. I use the big one and FH uses the medium one for long trips, and I sometimes use the carry on for shoes!
