Poor Lukie!! OMG, I can imagine how frightening this has been for you!! I'm glad he's getting better! What a tough little man he is!

Poor little guy. I hope he feels better soon. And you are right - there is no way you would have known. You are a great parent, you have to trust your instincts.

AWEEE Poor Luke !

I had the same thing happen that JA showed no symptoms and no crankiness both times that he had ear infections, and I felt guilty 'for not knowing'

Some hugs for Lukie and Mommy . Sorry to hear that Lukie has been sick, but glad to hear that he is doing better now. Liz, don't worry that you didn't know how sick he was...it happens to most parents at one time or another. From what I can tell you and your DH are terrific parents!!! Lukie wouldn't be so happy all the time if you weren't.

Thanks everyone, he's doing much better -according to the doctor at his follow up visit on Thursday, like I said he never showed any signs of being so sick. DH says he gets that from his side of the family. I had to laugh at him right in front of the pediatrician - it's not that the kid was in pain and toughing it out, he was obviously not in pain. The 'Bad parent' guilt passed that first day.

Poor Lukie!! I hope he is feeling better! I always worry myself that I am missing some greater sign of some kind of sickness so I can sympathize with your gray hairs!!
