LUKE IS FINE!!!!!

We got the results today and he is fine!! I have a healthy baby boy!! Needless to say, we are THRILLED beyond words. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers, it means so much to me that you all were here for support and with concern. I just saw all your posts from earlier and it so wonderful how great everyone here is.

Derek and I were both crying we were so happy to get the news. It's really been an emotional roller coaster since Friday. One minute I felt optimistic and was saying 'he's fine, I know he's fine' and the next thought was 'What if he isn't?' and all the fears would come flooding in. I guess it's all part of being a parent, I'm just so glad this had happy results. We will sleep so much better tonight! We decided to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation to help people who aren't as fortunate as we are with today's news. It's the least we can do.

Reading your post that baby Luke is fine totally pulls at this Mommy's heartstrings...I cannot imagine for a second having to endure a single question about Paul's health...not now, and definitely not at just a few weeks of life.
