Lump under breast, against chest wall? Please anyone..

My sister found it today, and she has an appt tomorrow I told her not to worry, but I am very scared...She said it feels like cauliflower.

Breast cancer runs bad in our family, my mom had it before she passed away. I have never heard of a lump in that spot though. Anyone ever had that?

I am sorry to hear about this. I had a small scare years ago and it turned out to be nothing. Try not to freak out. I know easier said than done. It may be nothing but it is good to go as a precaution. I am sure your sister will be fine. Just try to relax. Good Luck.

so sorry to hear, but i wanted ot tell you that my friend recently had a cyst in the same area! hoping its the same.....

My prayers are with her! Please keep us updated! I had a tumor once in my neck on my facial nerve and it was very scary, it was benign thank goodness. Its good to know there are people around you that care!

try not to worry... although it's hard. i went through this about 10 months ago....3 months before my wedding! it was a benign lump (i had to go for a sonnogram, mammograhpy and biopsy) and then i elected to have a lumptectomy (Where they go in and remove the lump.) because my mother had stage 4 breast cancer and this came out of nowhere (I am not cystic or have ever had anything like this). everything worked out FINE!!!!!! it could be so many things: a cyst, a benign lump, breast duct tissue that got irriated, etc.

If she does need a doctor ... i can recommend mine wholeheartedly. she specializes in breast cancer, breast surgery. she saved my mother's life when she detected her very rare cancer (NO lumps were presented) she just knew by the skin texture). FM if you want to talk

I have breast cancer in my family too and freaked when I found a lump last year. But it was nothing-I'm sure your sister will be fine. I will keep her & your family in my prayers.
