are there any here? whats involved with getting married in a lutheran church? do you have to do pre cana? my parents didnt have to. im just curious TIA heather

It might depend on the church. I have only been to 2 lutheran churches but all they required was a couple sessions of premarital counseling and that was it. HTH

We are getting married in my Lutheran church and its such a breeze!!! Fh is Catholic and im Lutheran. I got so frusterated coming out of his church because since I wasnt Catholic, I would NOT be allowed to take communion during our wedding ceremony, since Im very religious, that means alot to me!!! So I was upset. So we are getting married at my church and alls we have to do is go to one or two sessions with our pastor and FH CAN take communion no problem!!! phewwww
