Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

Original post by aliasPook

Well DAWNIE had her wedding on SUnday, and everything went as planned. This is a two part story, so if you want to read the Police Report info, just scroll to the bottom...no hard feelings, I know some of you are at work, I understand...

RH Dinner: Paparazzi

Food was great, service was great, price was great.

Make-up: Jacqueline Nicole

DAWNIE, my mother, and her BM looked so beautiful, that it brought tears to my eyes. The make up was so done to look natural, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Price was very reasonable also...

Hair: S/B Ciro, but he had a massive heart attack three weeks before the wedding. Elena the Bridal Assistant came on such short notice, and she did a beautiful job.

She did my hair and make up, DAWNIE's hair, and her BM's hair who used and extension. If anyone is considering using one, as long as the color matches, go for it. It looked beautiful, and our hair stayed all day long. I am using her for my wedding.

Transportation: Designer Limos

Ok, let's just put it this way. If it weren't for Ramon, our limo driver, who stuck his had under the hood of my car to disconnect the alarm, we would never had made it to the ceremony. This is part of the whole Police Report. You'll read about it later on. But they deserve an A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Our limo bar was stocked up with with liquor, and I believe the only people who were not feeling it by the time we arrived at the reception were three flower girls. The arrived very early and drive past the house on there way to pick up teh guys playing 'HERE COMES THE BRIDE...' on teh horn. Of course at first we freaked out because they were an hour early, but when tehy continued on towards the grooms we felt better.

Reception: FLOWERFIELD

WOW...that's all I can say...If you are getting married there, you are very, very lucky. It was beautiful, the food was delicious, the waitress was by our side every minute refilling our drinks. The place was beautiful, the bridal suite was stocked up with drinks and food and I loved the Bridal Attendant...(I didn't get his name, but he was a doll...)

DJ: Tommy Tunes

At no point during teh evening was teh dance floor empty...

I really can't comment on teh gown, other than it was beautiful. One complaint was that I couldn't get that **** detatchable train to stay on and it began to detatch at the alter. I was grinding my teeth telling DAWNIE, 'DON'T move...' and I kept trying to fix it. Couldn't get that thing off her quick enough.

MENTAL NOTE TO SELF: NO DETACHABLE TRAIN FOR MY WEDDING...

Photography/Video: Imagine

Awwwwweeeeee, these people were so nice!!! The were not pushy at all, creative and they helped me put the film in my own camera (because I couldn't figure it out for myself, and the used my camera to get the pictures that I wanted to be in. How sweet was that? NOw I can have my own copies and not have to wait forever for her proofs. I will let you know how they turn out.

Ok, some stupid b*tch in the Bridal Party walked off with my lap top, my keys, $200 worth of CLinique make up still in boxes (my mother stocked up during the last free gift sale at Century 21), $100 worth of Revlon, Ultima II, Cover Girl and max Factor make up that I bought at Rite Aid for half off, my SHOWGIRLS video and one other video, $40-something in cash, my fathers text pager taht belongs to the FSBNY, and best of all, my wedding checkbook with teh VISA check card and a balance of $16,698.00...
Ok? DON'T TRUST ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSE. EVER!!! i HAVE BEEN CRYING SINCE 8:00 LAST NIGHT, I HAD TO HAVE MY FATHER DRIVE ME TO BAY RIDGE HONDA AND HAVE MY KEYS REMADE FOR MY CAR ($90), WE CHANGED TEH LOCKS ($103)...my Laptop had all my wedding info on it. My guest lists, $200 worth of software, work stuff, pictures, and receipts...

TRUST NO ONE! This was someone that we knew, that we let in to out home. I had the police here today making out the police report and he kept shaking his head in disbelief. I am sick from this whole thing, I call in to work...I bought a half gallon of ice cream after closing my bank account and it's almost gone already. I am so sad over this...These are people that my sister has known here whole life, and I feel dirty and distgusting and po'd that they would have the nerve to do something like this...
Al I am pointing out is that no matter how well you know people, you never REALLY know them...
Sorry for the babbling, I am just freaking out still...

You really should call child protective services on her parents. FM me if you need the number. This is parental neglect and that child needs to be removed from that home and given some help.

You are amazing! No one would believe this story if it wasn't posted. I am so happy you got everything back.

Just be aware, change the locks to your house and car. I have a wee feeling that this wasn't the first little visit this little wench had.

In one word your entire family was VIOLATED by a 14 year old girl. She is seriously crying out for help. Call the Valley Stream school for wayward children, maybe they can give you advice and COMMIT HER.

Re: Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

About 7.00 tonight, the detective called my cell and apoligized for not calling me sooner, but he said that he was out of teh office. He told me that he tried to call my office last night, and it just rang and rang, which is true because one of out lines are out. Katie is already on probation for something she did last year (lovely, right?) and that the officer assisting last night gave me the wrong info. He felt that they did a poor job in the whole investigation. DSS is already involved in this, and that they can't even get a PINS petition or put her in state custody because of her physical codintion and all the medication that she is on. They are going to keep me informed though.

And yes, this whole thing is absolutely unbelieveable...but I have the Case #165 to prove it. I am sure there will be more, I'll keep you posted. I just wish Dawnie was home for all of this! She has no idea about what has gone on since she left.

And thank you all for your emotional support.
It really helped me, especially getting all of your opinions. I needed the reassurance to help me persue finding out who did it. You have no idea how much I appreciated it.

Re: Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

I am off from work today and I thought I would take a sec to updat you guys on what has been going on.

I got my things back last Tuesday. Things had been pretty quiet. I went and met with the detective on Thursday and he was telling me that they are going to proceed as if this were a
'191'~if ANYONE could please tell me what that is, I would appreciate it. They were supposed to get me a restraining order so she could not come across the street and if she did, we could call the police and get a her and her parents arrested. When I left, he said, 'You will here from me tomorrow, what is teh best way to contact you...' (I was off from work on Friday because it was Passover) Well, I am still waiting for the call. Between Monday and Tuesday of this week alone, I have left 16 messages. That does not including Friday's and Sundays calls.

NOW HERE IS THE GOOD PART!!!!

On Saturday, I came home to my house (I have been at FI's 6 days a week since this happened...) and I wanted to get my 'good' hair stuff (GOT2BE products, John Frieda, Citrashine) and replenish the supply at his house. This STUPID LITTLE *%#$@& must have come over my house AGAIN on Tuesday, April 1st after my Father and I had left to get my car rekeyed and taken MORE stuff!!!! I had used my hairstuff on Monday after the wedding and it was gone on Tuesday. That is why I couln't fully tell what was gone because more things disappeared. SHe was following my every mood, each time I left the house. SHe could see us coming and going. We were even late for Dawn's wedding because of teh car alarm!!!!!!!!!!!
How sick is that! Well, at about 1.00 on Saturday, Katie rides her bike past me, and God must have given me teh strength to not rip her greasy head off that bike and run her over with my car. (This gets better...) Her hair is shiny and slicked back. And believe me when I say this girl had BAD HAIR from the beginning.
5.30 rolls around, and my mother and I are standing outside with her next door neighbors gossiping about all of this. And who walks out the door??? Katie and her parents. Ok, ready for this???

(SCROLL DOWN)

SHE HAS BLOND HIGHLIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!
******************************************************************************************************************************************************

C/0: John Frieda's 'BEACH BLOND' Gold Rush Shimmer Gel.

Her hair was all sparkly and streaked. THE GIRL HAS BLACK HAIR!!!! Like I wouldn't have noticed?

$150 worth of hair things that I bought at RITE AID. And I have to laught because she took out my PMS WATER PILLS and left them on my dresser. She must have picked and chose what she wanted to take.

SO my father is finally po'd enough to help me. He is going on Tuesday to file a case in Small claims court for a days pay for me and a days pay for him. $150 for my hair stuff, $10 for my mouse an dmouse pad, $50 for the bag of VS stuff she took taht I only got back my lip balm and it was used!!!, car reying, house rekeying, his beeper because work had to replace it for him, and possibly my tiara beacsue it is all grossed out.

Yes girls, this has been my month.... Could it have gotten any worse???

Yes, it did!! My little chihuahua ate Brian's leather belt and he almost died. They think he is going to make it, I have to go and see him at noon. He is still in the hospital... ($1500 in Vet bills...)

Re: Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

Well, I know I was robbed on Sunday beacsue when I check my files on my laptop, they were created at 6.30 pm on 03/30. On Monday, I went through my hairstuff bag to look for my keys because I thought I might have dropped them in there. On Tuesday, I prepared a bag to bring to Brian's and I put a few little hair things in there beacsue I was running low. I left about noon, and came home at 2.30-3.00. Locks were changed at about 5. SO she must have been over between 12 and 2.30. THIS GIRL IS NEVER IN SCHOOL!!!! And the laptop proves it becasue she was on it all the time!

I can't get in touch with a PO to even find out about the restraining order. And I have to see that girl every time I come home. I can't stand it.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Who is the supervisor over the JD you have been dealing with I would start telling him about how everything has been screwed up from the beginning and your phone calls are not being returned.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Re: Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

I can't even get the guy on the phone. LPD is a waste of our taxes. I wish I would have called the Nassau Police Department, maybe I would have recieved better treatment.

Re: Lynbrook PD Police Report/Wedding Day Review

all i can say is 'WOW'...

through this whole saga...

I am very happy you got most of your stuff back, but how upsetting all of this must be for you...I know as much as you are angry with Katie...the sympathy that you feel is evident.

I still cannot believe that she had the nerve to walk into your house when the police were there...WHEN SHE STOLE FROM THE HOUSE!!

I hope at least you get the restraining order (btw...how did she get the bike?) and I hope that your day in small claims court is successful...

I just can't believe someone had to go through with this...but I respect the fact that you followed through...so many times I think people just take the insurance money...and let people get away with things...making our insurance go up even more...

my parents were robbed by their neighbors landscapers (yes we know they did it...my dad left for the store for only a few minutes...and they came out of our backyard) and our neighbors didn't fire them!! can you believe that...so every week my father (retired) sat out on his lawn...sharpening knives...lol...he said they would run passed the house...

good luck with everything...and I hope that we hear good news...maybe dawnie is reading this from hawaii?
