thats how you got the number, you would start the swirls and the other person would say stop, count the lines and that was the number

we didnt do swirls either....we just wrote lines in a row (picture writing 4 lines and crossiing the bunch out with the 5th kinda)

we used to do honeymoon spot, job, etc

yeah we had a lot more categories also...honeymoon was one...pets was another...i cant remember the rest but i know we had lots!

omg lol I love this game! i didn't make swirls though I would write 'I I I I I I I I I I' until the person said stop and then I would count the I. I think. I don't remember the swirls so I am guessing that this how we counted lol
