M - E - T - S !!!!!

REALLY BLEW THIS TIME!!!

im not really a fan, but my fh is a huge yankee fan and my parents are die hard met fans....so i just go with it!!!

the mets really put up a fight last night, but i cant believe they blew it!!!!!

i felt bad, bc my mom really wanted them to go to the world series!!!!

i was even on the edge of my seat last night!!!!!

I know, I can't believe it! I am a Yankee fan but was hoping the Mets would do it. I feel bad for them.

Oh well. FH is upset though b/c he is a Mets fan!

i know, my parents & fh always go back & forth so he cant wait to rub it in there faces, but i would have liked to see a new york team in the series!!!

FH and i went to the game on Weds and it was so much fun - I really had such a great time. Chris is a big Mets fan so he was thrilled that they won

Tell me about it!! My Fh works in sports and then when he's home he's either checking scores on ESPN on tv or checking scores on the internet in between his fantasy leagues!!

i was really upset that they lost last night - Ive always been a yankees fan (my brother is a DIE HARD yankees fan - so I just followed lol) but slowly FH is converting me into a Mets fan. It would have been soo nice to see them win - and I really thought they were gonna won last night

Yes mine is a Sports Management major too!!!

VERY upsetting. Especially after that amazing catch!! FH and I really thought we were going to win. We were in total shock last night. Barely said two words to each other after that!...except for his comment 'There is always next year' and I said 'Next year we will be getting married and then on our honeymoon so you best not be watching any post season baseball!'

I am seriously disappointed about last nights game because I am a huge Met fan although that catch from Endy Chavez was amazing to see!

I don't get some Yankee fans who are Met haters...I mean since the Yanks have an amazing record, why do they even care about the Mets if the Yanks are so great? Things that make you go hmmmmm....

I hear ya...to say that fh and I are devastated sounds a little dramatic, but it's completely true. Our apartment is not a happy one right now.

And as for the yankee haters who are making comments now that we're out of it, that's just unnecessary and childish.

it's sad they didn't win-- they had a great season and gave it their all... i'm not too crushed b/c i think them losing was inevitable-- if they made it against st. louis there was NO way they were going to win against detroit-- they are just so good this year. so i think either way they would have lost and it would have been a bigger let down. still sad though

I was at the game also last night.. there was actually some one who had to be escorted out b/c she couldn't stop crying, people were making fun of her.. I felt so bad.

So sad that they lost!! I sit next to a huge Yankees fan at work.....and of course I walk in to work today and he's got all anti Mets stuff up on his desk. I told him that Yankees fans can be so obnoxious!!! (at least when they act like that!!) Some of my friends were at the game last night and he said there were some Yankees fans dressed in Cardinals gear at the game!!! Unbelievable!

I'm a Mets fan but I hope BOTH teams do better next year......and face off in the World Series!!! now that would be a great game!!!

I know, i'm SOOOO sad today! they blew it...i really wanted them in the world series
