Hi girls. I was wondering if those of you who are using *** ever got a contract. I gave her a cash deposit in August and didn't get a reciept or anything. I emailed and was sent a contract to fill out but I have nothing signed by them so the only proof I have that I booked are emails. I was wondering if this is the way she typically does things or if you girls are having a different experience. Thanks

You know, now that I am reading this-I dont think that I have a contract either. Just all of the emails back and forth. Hmmm...............

I had a bad experience with her. She was an hour and 1/2 late for my trial ( I went to her salon and she was still late). I felt like she rushed through my trial and I didn't like my makeup. I was upset because all I heard was raves on here about her work SO I was expecting to love it. It may have been my fault since I said I wanted the GLAM look. Anyhow- I don't know why, but I left a $75 deposit to secure my wedding day with her. I called the assistant to try to get my money back but they suggested a retrial, which I am going for next month. I will keep you posted on the outcome of that. I never got a contract either.

LOL I guess you live and learn. I love makeup so I didn't want them to be scared to put it on me. Now I know to ask for the nice, classy bridal look

And this, my friends is why I didn't book her.. Beautiful work, but paperwork, etc... (contract issues) are not to my liking.. I also feel she is overpriced.... as I have seen MANY other hairdressers/makeup artists who do as good a job as her and are on the ball with emails, contracts, etc.. She also won't budge with the price.. I'm paying for me, about 12 bridesmaids, 2 JR. bridemaids, 2 MOB and 4 flowergirls... personally, I don't like to struggle for what I'm paying for so I opted out.... JMO

Yasaman - did u get the contract signed by her via email or did she mail it to you? Ijust mailed out my check with the deposit so ill wait at least until it's cashed and then start stalking for a signed contract. :)
