I'm going to get my makeup done at one of the MAC stores. (Not for my wedding- for my pictures with AG). Do you pay for that? Or do you just kind of buy some products? How much would you tip them? TIA

I havent had it done but I talked to a MAC makeup person this weekend.
She told me that you have to buy $50 worth of product, but that you then get a free makeup trial.
You book the artist individualily, I think outside of their work.

Usually you just have to buy product, and not tip the girls.

I think it varies a little depending on which one you go to..
One counter I went to I had to buy 3 products
Another counter was $50 worth of products..
You can give them a quick call to find out about the one near you...

When I went to the MAC counter at the Macys in Manhasset, I was told that I needed to buy $75 worth of product for the 'free' trial.

Herald Square Macys is $75. Maybe you should go to the MAC store in Roosevelt Field Mall! Might be cheaper.

i asked about having it done for my bpics and i have to buy 4 products - bloomies at roosevelt field mall.
where are all the places that you only need to buy $50 worth of stuff? i'd rather do that!
