I have a trial at MAC tomorrow. They didn't mention that id have to buy anything- do you think since its a wedding trial they wont have me buy anything? I figure if I have to, I can go to the other mac and return it. i already have so much makeup and enough of the blush and lip gloss I use from them.

Re: MAC trial
I had to buy 4 products, even for the trial.

Re: MAC trial
I called MAC a while back to inquire about this. I had to buy $50 worth of products after my trial was done.

ask to buy what they used on you in case you book them--then you'll have your wedding day lipstick, etc.

The only thing is that Im gonna have a couple more trials elsewhere to compare. I have plenty of time so i figure i wont settle.

Re: MAC trial
not sure which location you're going to....but I went to the Queens Center Mall location and had to buy FIVE products....it cost me $140!! more than the trial I did for my wedding make up artist who will be coming to my home!! I did the MAC trial for my e-pics. I didn't even think of returning the products afterwards....that would've been smart!!

Re: MAC trial
MAC at MACY'S in Manhasset charges $50 not by product - or at least they did when I went in the winter of 05.

Re: MAC trial
I called, too. $50 in product or a fee of $50. I would def. buy stuff versus donating $50
