Macy's Registry Question

Does anyone know if Macy's price matches? I am trying to buy my friend Lenox china off her registry and noticed that Lenox.com has it for $50 less per setting! If they don't do you think I could buy it from Lenox and then take it off her Macy's registry? All of her bridesmaids are trying to get as much stuff off of her registry and we can get so much more for our money with Lenox.coms price!

ya just call macys and tell them you bought something and forgot to take it off the registry-it will be a lot cheaper

i dont think they price match, but can you use coupons?

Macys marks stuff up and then puts it 'on sale' to what most stores charge as the retail price. Call them up and ask them if Lenox will be going on sale. Sometimes the sales people know in advance and are very honest. If not, ask if they will match the price.
