Every time I mention that I am considering registering at Macy's people make faces. Is there something wrong with the registry? I am definitely registering @ BBB, but should I be registering @ Fortunoff's instead?

I'm planning to Macy's and BBB. As a guest I've had problems with Fortuneoff. Some of my friends' registry items were discontinued very quickly, so it made shopping for them really annoying.
I also like Macy's because they are nationwide. I have a good number of OOT guests. But when it comes down to it, register where you want and where you find the most things you like.

I am really not into Macy's, I just registered at fortuneoffs for the china and all the other hosting items..we are doing target for everything else.. i just love target its more fun to shop there..
I just finished our registries. We registered at BBB & Macy's. I found that Macy's had a slim selection, not consistent with what's on the website. I compared prices between the 2 stores and saw that the prices @ BBB were much better on most things. The people were nice in both places. In BBB they periodically checked on us, which was nice. They gave us bottles of water and some chex mix, since were were there for so long. I wound up finishing up the register online, I was soooooo tired!!! I feel like I could have just registered @ BBB, but I thought it would be good to give people a variety.
