Well I took the day off work today and me and my sister (MOH) went to Macys bridal salon in the Smith Haven Mall just to look at dresses, have her try some on and see what we like. We went here and when we walked in not one person asked if we needed help....Id say we were there for about 45 minutes picking out and trying on. NOT ONCE did any of the ladies (there were 3) ask us if we had any questions or whatever. So finally I had a question....Would you know that the woman that I asked had the nerve to finish her personal conversation BEFORE she looked up to see if they carried a certain dress for me?????? I mean like a good 5 minute conversation and all I needed was about 1 minute of her time............ SO needless to say that that place stinks and I would reccommend it to anyone!!!!! We had much better luck at the Bridal Suite in Centereach (there is also one in Bay Shore). I figured stop in there since we were right there. The ladies were incredibly helpful and we found some nice dresses.

Wow I'm really surprised. I went there twice and both times I had a good experience. The women there were very helpul and my mom and I were just looking around and they kept asking if we needed help. I'm really surprised because the Macy's in Manhassett was where I had the probelm. Nobody was there to help and they were a little snotty.
Sorry that happend to you that really stinks :mad

Since I live right down the road from the mall I was going to try them.... maybe not anymore! I think I am going to stick with Bridal Suite in Centereach, also right down the road from me. :

Re: Macys Bridal Salon in the Smithhaven Mall
I had a bad experience there too. My MOH and I went to check out a demetrios dress and it was locked up. Macy's was open, but the bridal salon was locked because the girl who works there (apparently there's only one) had an emergency. It wasn't a big deal for us, but there was another woman there who needed to pick up a dress. They said they weren't sure if they could find anyone who had a key. What a bunch of morons....Stay away!

Based on customer service, specifically during my BM getting sized and paying for their dresses, this is the one vendor I am VERY worried about out of all that I am using.

I agree-see I am a pain in the A$$! I would have found a manager and bit$%ed. If you don't want to work-than don't. But don't stand there and ignore someone-that is so rude.

Wow, so surprised. I bought my dress there and I had no problems at all. I am sure there is someone you can complain to.

I felt the same way when I went and needless to say I never went back. I had to practically beg someone to help me and not too mention she acted like it was painful to help me. I like bridal suite in Centereach they are really nice and so is the owner and they take their time with you also. I went to Bridal Suite in Bayshore they were nice also.
