Macy's Bridal warning

For the manhasset Macy's, be careful if you order your dress or bm dresses there.

My friend, (stefandken) ordered her dress there as well as ours.

She went in a few weeks ago and tried it on but said don't alter anything until i come back with my shoes and BM's.

So we went monday and what did they do? They altered the top of her dress and now it's too tight, they said they misunderstood. But she didn't pay for them to alter it and called to confirm what she told them NOT to do.

One top of that.... our dresses came in too. The store originally wanted to order me a size 6 and i insisted on a size 4. Good thing cuz i need A LOT taken in and want to go back tomorrow, for the 2nd time in a week to make sure they understand what i need taken in.

Just be careful.

Also plan to wait.. they are pains in the butts with being on time.

I ordered my dress from Macy's in Manhattan- so far so good! Hopefully I won't have similiar problems there!

me too! up until now they've been nothing but nice. but who knows what will be once the dress comes in and the fitting will start.

Oh no i got my dress from them, i have already see it but am not haveing it altered till Nov. i hope they dont screw up I will throw the biggest fir if they screw up my dress

I did get my dress when they said i would

You have to go to there Demertios ( maybe spelled wrong)website he makes the dress for macys

yeah. I'm sure everything will go ok. All places have there good and bad workers. There seamstress just seems to be a little eh to me. And their customer service isn't the greatest.
