MACYS MESSED UP YET AGAIN!

well my LR set came today and low and behold one of the legs of the sofa is broken!!

they left the couch and are bringing another on jan 3


I took pics and will upload them monday at work, my computer at home is waaay too slow

ordering furniture from them just plain S&CKS
we had a problem w/ the bed
a part took forever to come

Niecey had problems w/ her rug

now my couch! ugh

Besides the problems with my rug with delivery and timing, I had tons of issues with my living room set. It did come in the time they said it would - that was a plus...but one of the sofa cushions had a huge water stain, the sleeper/apt. sofa had a tar stain on the front and a medium sized hole in one of the cushions and the ottoman had a fabric defect - so it had all lines running thru it. I can't believe these made it out of the warehouse looking like it did. It took about 1-3 months to get all the defects taken care of with tons and tons of stress because at first they wouldn't replace the items. They wanted to send Furniture Doctor to come and look at it but I had huge, huge problems with them and refused to deal with them anymore. Besides all the furniture issues - they dropped the sleeper and made 2 gashes in my Pergo floor which was very difficult to replace - I just finally got it finished last week and the incident took place in September - Macys did cover the damage - but it took many phone calls and much paperwork!

I don't know what it is with furniture .. but so many places seem to be very difficult to deal with .. either with deliveries, the actual furniture itself, the billing .. whatever.

Sorry you're struggling with this .. I can totally sympathize .. I've had more than my share of issues with furniture problems .. it's made me extremely paranoid of furniture shopping.
