Macy's Registry

ok maybe its just me having a 'blonde moment' but why am I consistently getting the error message when I try to add items to my registry?

“We are currently unable to add the item(s) you selected to your registry. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try adding these items at a later time.”

I have been trying for the last three months. I have picked different items, Updated my profile, tried on different days and times, even used different browsers but I still get the same error message.

Can anyone help me before I go nuts?

hmmmmm, that's strange. I actually was on there yesturday to update and I had no problem That ***** that you're having such an issue with it. I would phone them and see if there is something wrong with your particular registry??? Hope it all works out for you!!!

Yeah I emailed them twice and I am going to call them tomorrow to see what we can do. It is just driving me insane!

Cant help you there, but I did want to warn you to call Macys often -- by that I mean, every month -- to have them personally tell you what is still available for purchase on your registry. Macys has failed to contact me about over HALF of the items on my registry being discontinued. Guests of mine have actually gone to macys and had to be told that most things werent available anymore! I didnt find out til I got a call from a GUEST that my luggage was discontinued and do I want to add new luggage.

I would call and find out-that stinks

I have been having a lot of problems with my registry there too. I tried to change the amount on one thing and then it changed it to being completed and I could not change it back. My mom also bought two sets of sheet for us for Christmas off of our registry and one of them did not come of. She even stood there with the cashier and made sure he had taken both off and he assured her both were off. Well one wasn't and we got two of the same sheets for Christmas. I went to the registry department to tell them about this and all I got was, 'No, that would never happen.'
