Macy's Registry

Macy's Registry

I just have to say that my bridesmaids and a lot of other people said Macy's was horrible to deal with for my registry. They wanted me to warn everyone. They had hardly anything in stock and they took the wrong stuff off that was purchased.
They had to go to Fortunoffs anyway which had better prices too.

I've been registered with Macy's since January.....and I haven't had any problems with them. Got all the right gifts, nothing on the registry got messed up....The only thing that went out of stock was the flatware, but it was a popular style

Could it have been the particular store she was dealing with? We registered through the one in Manhattan.

I'd have to agree with your BM and friends. I am also registered at Macy's and they have been beyond AWFUL. Their prices are ridiculously high, the employees are soooooo rude and unhelpful (Manhattan store) and everything on my registry says 'will ship in 8-10' or '10-12' weeks. Are you kidding me? Who wants to buy someone a gift and have it arrive 2-3 months later?!?!?

If you're looking to register, BB&B is the way to go!!

Yeah, maybe that was the problem. We had registered at the one at Roosevelt Field and that's where most of them had gone to purchase the gifts.
But Fortunoffs is cheaper.

I will say - I'm registered at BBB too, for most of my stuff! But, I guess I lucked out then with Macy's.
