i know a lot of brides have had trouble w/ macy's giving cash returns. we went yesterday to add Macy's as our second registry (in addition to BBB), and were really enticed by the rewards program. other brides w/ past experiences w/ them, is it worth it? should we still go w/ fortunoff's, etc. (i know other stores have similar programs.

I registered at Macy's---and I have noticed that with my registry and with others that I went for--they rarely have what you want in stock--it is quite annoying.

We are using Macy's as our main registry store. We LOVE them. They have been really accomodating so far, and the registry rewards program is great. I'm not concerned about returns and cash b/c we shop there as it is, but if that's a concern really study it. But every month, I get a statement from them about how much we have in registry rewards dollars. We're going to be able to either complete our sets or get some really nice stuff (it can be used at their furniture stores too).
We decided against Fortunoff's for a few reasons but mainly b/c they are a tri-state area store with a website that is not the easiest to navigate and two, I've heard horror stories on the boards about things suddenly disappearing from the registry lists making returns impossible or things being discontinued without a note or anything.

We are doing Macys too. The rewards program is just a bonus for us!

We registered at Macys and so far aso good. I have had good and bad experiences at Macys when buying registery gifts in the past but I have had the same good and bad experiences at Fortunoff, BBB, and Target. In the end, we went with Macys because there are so many locations, their star rewards program, and they usually have good sales and coupons.

we are enrolled wiht both programs at Macy's and Fourtunoff. They seem like great programs.

I am using macy's and bbb. I like bbb better for returns but there are a lot of things that aren't in the store that need to be ordered online. bbb gives cash for returns for full price while macys gives store credit or money onto macys credit card for sale price.

we did BBB, Macys,Fortunoff..BBB is the best with returns they told us we could get cash back i hope thats true
