thats awesome girls..thanks so much for your help..how did you let your guests know? everyone knows im registered at fortuneoff!

hmmmm well for us it wasnt a big deal b/c we only had the bloom one for our e-party last June and I changed everything after that before my STD's went out with our website which has our registries linked to it. You may need to just do word of mouth at this point. There are some pretty resourceful people too who might be able to just do a search for you and find out.

Re: Macy's registry?

I have a Macy's registry and I have had no problems at all with them- mostly I put bedding and sheets because they looked so nice and all but I found a pair of toasting flutes also that I had liked but nobody bought them for us.. I think I will just leave them alone for the moment... if we have an extra gift card I'll sneak and buy them even though we bought a pair for the wedding.

I initially registered at Fortunoffs for China, and everyday dinnerwear. After looking at the dinnerwear again recentl'y, I didnt really love it, so I went online, deleted it all, and moved it over to Macy's instead. They have a better selection anyway.

we registered at Macys and I have to say surprisingly enough we have had a good experience thus far. Aside from having to pick out new dishes since ours were discontinued it has been ok. We registerd in the Roosevelt Field Macys, I dont like the regular sales people but the bridal registry people are very helpful Especially this older lady named Arlene. She checked out with the buyer for us about our dishes and called us with the answers we were looking for. Plus she deleted the old ones off for me. Very helpful.

I havent had any problems with Macys! Almost everything has been bought off my registry. Though I just found out a few things are now only available online, but I think you can go to the store and have them order it for you so you an use your coupons. They gift wrap it too! I get updates all the time on how much money we have accrued on the gift card they will give us after the wedding, and every time I spend $, 10% of it goes on that gift card too!

Along with getting 5% back from guests' puchases from your registry, and 10% back of whatever you purchase at Macys (including clothes), you also get a 10% discount on all jewelry purchases you make at Macys.

Also, they have an option for you to have 3% of online (and only online, unfortunately) registry purcahses donated to a charity...they have a huge list of charities and you choose one. So, it's a nice way to give back in a way if anyone buys anything online.

And if you return somethng that was scanned off your registry at time of purchase, it's a no-hassel return...either you can replace it on the spot or have the $ put on a giftcard.
