Good luck!! I went there but didn't find anything I liked. They were very nice. Found THE DRESS elsewhere.

Good for you and finding your dress. I dont have that much luck. Everything I try on I like but diddnt get that wow thing.Do they have a wide variety of dresses??

i got my dress from there. check out the demetrios website to see their styles. they only carry demetrios wedding gowns (other designers for BP dresses). every style i wanted to try on they had.
Yes they had alot, just nothing that I loved. They did have alot of BM dresses too which is where I found mine (just bought it elsewhere)
what exactley happens at a trunk show? i LOVE a demetrios dress and its most likely the dress i am going to buy.....im probably going to buy it from Macy's and see if my Mom can use her employee discount on it....are all the dresses cheaper during a trunk show? or only some of them? or is it just new dresses from the designer? if Macys has the dress i want now - will it be less money the days of the trunk show? or no?

I recently bought a Demetrios dress this weekend from Macy's, which I LOVE!!!
The girl who helped me told me that during a trunk show, the new demetrios line for 2008 is displayed, and they're usually on sale, for about 15% off I think. But I think you have to purchase right then and there if you're buying the dress from the new line. Because at the end of the weekend, they pack up the stuff and bring it to the next location where the trunk show is held.
Also, all the dresses in the store not part of the trunk show are on sale for 15% off. And I believe that veils and tiaras are on sale too - I think maybe 20% or 25% off.
The girl that helped me also told me that if you're a knot.com member, you can get 15% off your dress at anytime. You just have to bring in proof that you belong to that site. And if you pay for your dress in full when ordering, they will take 20% off the price of your dress rather than 15%. Also, they will give you a discount of 25% off on your veil and tiara when paying for full and placing the order for those things the same day.
I had asked if you could combine the 15% off knot.com offer along with the 15% off given at trunk shows, for a total of 30% off. But she said no, they can't be combined. It's one or the other.
