Made the votives and rose cone petals during the week and..........

They freakin came out GREAT!!!!!! I have to thank you ladies because I would have never known about these ideas and projects if not for you. My sister kept saying-'Damn these look great, thanks for LIW!!' A lot of my guests are a bit older and will be shocked to see what I have done!!!!!! Definitely make them!

Neen, do you mind posting how you made the petal cones? It looks simple but not for me - I'm a not very crafty! TIA!

Sure- I went to Walmart and bought dollies (sp??) paper ones (16 come in a package) and simply rolled them to make a cone. After I rolled them I used double sided tape and taped the cone together. I then bought burgundy ribbon to match the burgundy petals and cut piece of the ribbon and tied it around the cone and made a bow. I bought to large baskets also at Walmart ($6.97 ) and placed them in there in a nice arrangement.

I ordered freeze dried rose petals in burgundy color from preciouspetals.com. I highly recommend them-the petals look great!
