I keep going back and fourth on wheather I should wear a slip with my Maggie gown (A line)...so what is everyone doing?
I figured one less thing to wear= less heavy and hot...but at the same time I don't feel 'finished'...

Re: MAGGIE brides-SLIP??
I am wearing a slip but it's not overly poofy in my opinion.

Re: MAGGIE brides-SLIP??
Im wearing the Maggie Christina and I didnt think I was having a slip but when I went for the fitting I tried it on with the smallest crinoline slip they had and I loved it. It was just enough to add to it but not too puffy, bc puffy wasnt for me - I couldnt walk in them!
I wore a slip though I didn;t think I needed one at the fitting, I realized that the seamstress was right. If I didn't have one, the dress would have not looked right. As you walk, the dress is always one step behind you (because the damn thing is so heavy!) and it really would have been caught (not to be graphic) in between your legs. I tried to walk at the fitting and it was very awkward. IMO, get the slip, it's actually more comfortable.
I hope you can understand what I am saying, look at the way my gown fell and maybe that will help?
