Maggie Corset back brides

Alright, so they say for the first fitting I need to bring my shoes and undergarments. My original bridal shop said I would not need a bra for my dress and I know I've asked one or two individually but I need a consensus. For those of you with Maggie Sottero dresses with the corset back that are....well, above a B cup, did you need a bra? Did you feel like you had enough of a lift? TIA!

ditto....I didn't have a Maggie dress but it was a corset and nothing else was fitting inside of there!!

Yea I can see that, just being squooshed...w/ a cup you'd keep the shape.

I am probably just above a B and although I am not wearing a bra, I am having 'fillers' sewn in...not to hold me up but to give me some more shape and a little cleavage. Also, I found the corset causes some wrinkles when pulled real tight, so the extra padding helped alleviate that.

Well unfourtunatly I am not above a B cup. I got felicity and dont need a bra... It actually makes me look bigger.

I am a D cup and I wore a bra. I just know myself and I wouldn't have been comfortable without one.

Well here was my problem... I tried my dress on 2 times when it came in. The first time I tried it on with a strapless bra with bones the second time I tried it on with a different bra and both times my boobs were spilling out over the top of my dress I was sooo upset that I was gonna go get a quick reduction! I then tried it on a 3rd time and the woman in the bridal shop told me to try it on with out a bra. I could not have imagined not wearing a bra since I am a DD!! Well I tried it on and it looked sooooo much better. I have the maggie royal romance w/ A line skirt and I am having straps add to my dress for extra support If someone else have anyother suggestions for me that would be great. I do perfer to wear a bra, but I dont want my boobs spilling over the top. Thanks

I'm a C cup and I wore a long-line bra because I felt that when I went braless thecorset gave me that uniboob-sports bra look I'm glad I worse the bra and it helped cinch my waistline even more

I am a DD and I too had the 'spillage' when I first tried the bra on. I went to Mary's and they told me if I had that problem, to come back to them and they would cut out the push up pads that were in the bra cups - that helped. Also, the owner of my bridal shop showed me on one of my fittings to leave the last two hooks at the top of the corset bra unhooked and that took care of the spillage!

My dress is the Karen, I'm about a B cup and I decided on wearing a bra...only Because I will feel funny without it!!

I wore Miami, I am an F cup so I definately wore a long line bra. My seamstress said I could just use the corset back and tie it real tight but I wasnt comfortable with that.
